All payments mailed prior to January 31st should be addressed to:

Who picks up my garbage?
The Town of Lyons does not provide trash collection. All residents must contract individually with haulers for their trash and recycling pick-up.

Does the Town of Lyons have a recycling program?

By ordinance every resident and business is required to recycle. The Town provides a "drop-off" sight at 1477 Mill St, Riverview Park. Recycling is collected at this sight twice per month, usually on the second and 4th Saturday.

What is the population of Lyons Township?

Per Department of Administration estimates at January 1st, 2010 there were 3734 residents. Approximately 2835 residents are of voting age.
