August 12, 2011 Sanitary District II-Budget
Town Sanitary District #2 of the Town of Lyons Budget Workshop Minutes
Date: Friday, August 12, 2011
Place: Lyons Sanitary District Lyons, WI.
Those in attendance: President James DeLuca; Treasurer Dick Blackburn, Secretary Ted Lightfield, LSD2 Plant Superintendent Bob Biedrzycki; Admin. Ass’t Donna Prochacka.
President James DeLuca called Meeting called to order at 9:00 a.m
Discussion / Action on 2012 Budget. The Commissioners discussed the 2011 projected revenues and expenses and the 2012 Budget projections on a line by line basis. Preliminary numbers were decided on and will be forwarded to Jeff O’Gorman for his use to determine the R.U.E. The Commissioners will resume the discussion on Saturday, August 20th with a phone conference with Jeff O’Gorman.
At 1:15 p.m., Dick Blackburn made a motion to go into closed session under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c) for the following purpose: Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility; seconded by Jim D.; all in favor; motion carried.
Dick B. made a motion to come out of closed sessions at 1:45 p.m.; seconded by Jim D.; all in favor; motion carried.
Jim D. made a motion to reimburse Bob B. for his unpaid compensation time in the amount of $2,500 at the end of the year with the understanding there is sufficient money in the budget. Vacation will still be as per the handbook; second by Dick B.; all in favor; motion carried. He also made a motion to get a copy of the Union Grove Resolution regarding reimbursement for pension expense which will be used to reimburse employees for their cost of pension expense for 2011 because it was budgeted to be paid for in 2011.
Jim D. made a motion to adjourn at 2:00 p.m.; second by Dick; all in favor; motion carried.
