Special Meeting – June 1, 2012
USDA Project/Sampling Station
Present: Doug Day (President); Jim Miller (Treasurer); Robert Phillips (Secretary) and Cindy Ganka (Superintendent).
Special Guests: Brandon Foss (Crispell Snyder) and Tim Andringa (Attorney-CESD via tele-conference).
Doug Day opened meeting at 9:03 a.m.
Jim Miller made a motion to move to closed session per Section 9.85, par. (1), sub (g), conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved, Bob Phillips seconded the motion, motion carried unanimously.
Moved to closed session at 9:04 a.m.
Bob Phillips made a motion to reconvene to open session at 10:13 a.m., Jim Miller seconded the motion, motion carried unanimously.
Jim Miller made a motion for Brandon Foss to design a sampling/meter station consistent with the contract and draft a letter outlining the history of this matter, Bob Phillips seconded the motion, motion carried unanimously.
Jim Miller made a motion for Cindy Ganka to draft a letter to the USDA requesting an extension on the USDA Grant/Loan project, Bob Phillips seconded the motion, motion carried unanimously.
Bob Phillips made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Jim Miller seconded the motion, motion carried unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 10:14 a.m.
